Underrated right sides to track at the Lone Star Regionals 18s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The club volleyball season is almost over for the class of 2025 prospects, with the USAV Girls Junior National Championship coming up in just over a month, in Salt Lake City.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Many teams from around the country have already secured a spot in the tournament, but several others are still looking to qualify and this weekend the teams from Texas will have a great opportunity to do it by competing at the Lone Star Regionals.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The event is going to take place at the Legends Event Center, in Bryan, from Saturday to Sunday and will have as many as 56 teams from the Lone Star State competing for the eight bids available.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The tournament is going to feature some serious talent from the club volleyball scene in Texas, and we're taking the days leading up to it to highlight those players. She's a little undersized to play the position but is always ready to punish those who don't make their best efforts against her at the net. Jackson-Woods gets off the floor very well and is incredibly efficient in how she finds angles to beat opposing blockers. She's also extremely versatile offensively, swinging from the right, the left and even the middle, despite being a lefty, with great efficiency - she's very smart and precise with her tips too. A middle-turned-into-right-side-hitter, she adjusted well to the position, using her size and physicality to make an impact at the net. A six-footer, Edwards has a heavy right arm and can score at a good clip from the right - because of her ability to play in the middle, she can also hit quicker sets on the right, creating problems for opposing blockers. She returned to the team this season and brought a big, physical presence for them at the net. A lefty, Briese makes great use of her size to make contact with the ball at the highest possible point and she's skilled enough to find sharp angles to beat opposing blockers. She thrives by hitting higher or quicker sets on the right and uses her quick left arm to make last-second decisions. A towering pin hitter, she joined the club this season, coming from [program_tooltip program_id='538544' first='Katy' last='United'], and moved from the left to the right, where she's probably in a better spot to make the most of her impressive physical tools. Brooks' main offensive asset is her incredibly high contact point, which she does a great job of extending by fully stretching her arm every time she goes up to swing. She's a solid all-around player, who can perform multiple roles for the team, but is mostly used on the right. Despite not being super tall or physical, Zorzi had an interesting offensive game, displaying a nice ability to send the ball into difficult angles with her swings to beat opposing blockers.
