I love watching the up and coming players. This is part 2 in my 3 part series on 2028s. I sit at a ton of courts and these players are all ones that have jumped out to me for one reason or another. These kids are fine tuning their skills, working hard daily on the court, and are going to be heavily sought after recruits in a year or so. I can't wait to follow them over the next couple of year and see where they end up committing as they are all destined for great things.

Remember to follow me on Instagram @Prepdigamy and Facebook @PrepDig Amy for up to date event coverage, stories, and more.

Quagliano was a beast when I saw her play last month. She makes minimal errors due to the fact that she has an excellent shot selection. She reads the court and the defense in front of her well and knows when to take rips down the line, cross court, when to hit the roll/off speed shot, or when a tip is the best way to score. Quagliano's smart game play makes her that player that you want on the court at all times.

I love watching a good opposite on the court and De Jager is fastly becoming one of my favorites. As a young athlete, her ability to track the ball over her shoulder, alter shots, and terminate both cross and line attacks with so much power is not only entertaining to watch, but also super impressive. De Jager not only has height and power, but she also has speed. Combine all of her great skills with a her quick reactions and the speed of her footwork and you have a phenomenal player on the court and one heavily sought after future recruit.

Frieler jumped on my radar earlier in the season when I saw her play at the Frostbite Festival. Frieler is impressive in the fact that she has the capacity to step into several roles on the court and dominate each of them. She is a poised attacker, can hit from both the right and left pin, and does a solid job in both serve receive and defense.

Frieler's game is also advanced in the fact that not only is she seeing elevated play during the club season, but this high level attacker and defender has already found success on the varsity floor during the school season. Frieler is a young player on the rise and will be one to keep tabs on.

Vick is lethal no matter where she is on the court. This dynamic outside attacker has a swift, heavy arm that lets her terminate cross and line shots with ease. She is especially impressive in the fact that she can attack the out of system passes and sets with power, has a well disguised roll shot, and when she is on the move running routes, opponents need to watch out. Vick's serve receive and defensive game has also grown in the past months making her a highly effective 6 rotation outside that is going to be on the top of several college coach's watch lists.

I watched Suggs play at the Mizuno Showcase in Wisconsin Dells and have been following her ever since. Suggs is versatile and has quite a range on her for a young middle. She is quick, has great reactions, and has a strong vertical that allows her to get up on top of the ball to deliver hard shots all over the court. Her net play is also fantastic. She uses her speed and strong footwork to allow her to move side to side quickly to stop opposing team's attackers in their tracks.

Sinclair plays as if she was born for the sport. Honestly, she is fascinating and fun to watch on the court. She is so many things…she is fast, fluid, flexible, powerful, dynamic…essentially everything you want in your pin hitters. I especially like it when she is on the right side as she can not only terminate with power, but she puts up a mammoth block as well. If Sinclair continues to grow her game at the pace she is, she is going to be a heavily sought after recruit in a couple of short years.

I recently wrote on Sampson and try to avoid recent repeats. However, I wanted to include a setter in this article and honestly, she has been the most dynamic setter that I have seen in the past couple of months. And that is saying a lot as I am on volleyball courts EVERY weekend in both small and large venues. This girl has skills. She is quick, has good hands, sets a clean, consistent ball, and isn't afraid to be bold. She doesn't just set the easy set instead gets backrow attackers involved and can deliver some crazy reversals that are fascinating to watch.

Schneider is an amazing player to watch. She is tall, athletic, poised, and has a hammer for an arm. This first time I was watched her play with her Kairos 16 Alpha team, I was impressed with how good she was….and then I found she was only a 2028, playing up a year, which made it every more incredible. One of the things that sets her apart from her peers is her range. She is a setters best friend as she seems to get her hands on every set, regardless of location, as it if were meant to be placed in that spot. If I was recruiting a lefty right side in the class of 2028, Schneider would be at the top of my list.
