Northeast Qualifier Notables for Ohio Valley, Pioneer Regions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Ohio Valley and Pioneer Region teams had a number of good finishes in the Northeast Qualifier in the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two teams took third. The Buckeye 17 Black National team finished 8-1 driving to the gold semifinals in the 17 USA Division and the [program_tooltip program_id='430764' first='Academy' last='Volleyball Cleveland'] took third in the 15 Open at 7-2 overall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Three more teams took fifth. The [program_tooltip program_id='481203' first='Northern' last='Kentucky Volleyball Club'] 15-1 squad finished 7-2 to do it in the 15 Open Division and the Southwest 16N TR team took fifth with an 8-1 record in the 16 Liberty Division with the [program_tooltip program_id='430243' first='NKYVC' last=''] 15-2 team finishing 6-2 in the 15 USA Division.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two Ohio Premier teams and one more [program_tooltip program_id='430243' first='NKYVC' last=''] team finished with nice records. The 16 Donisi team finished a respectable 5-3 in the 16 USA Division and the 15 Ostendorf team finished 6-2 in the 15 USA Division for Ohio Premier. Caudill played a big role at the net helping the club team go 8-1 on the way to the gold semifinals in the 17 USA Division. Caudill has great rhythm on her net approaches smacking balls to different parts of the court. She consistently finds ways around and off blockers. She is also a good swing blocker. She gets in ready position quickly then puts the right amount of power into balls from both the pins and the middle. She can pound it to the back row from both sides of the net. Tudor sees defenses well and places balls away from them. She rises up and pounds down overpassed balls. O'Brien can arc balls to the opposite side of the court on one play then pound balls down the near line on the next play making teams defend the entire court.
