Blackburn said she’s been focusing on everything she can do to become that solid all-around player and not just one specific thing. Blackburn said while playing back row in high school, she had not played there for club before this year. Blackburn also said she’s been trying to communicate better on the court.

Blackburn’s family likes to leave marks not only in volleyball, but many sports and Blackburn hopes to do it as well. Blackburn takes great swings pounding balls to the back rows from both pins. She places balls well and has worked on her rhythm during the club season.
