Last week, we made another update to our Class of 2027 Player Rankings.

Now, it's time to take a closer look at each position. Right sides are a valuable position that can tend to get overlooked, but there are plenty of impactful ones in the Class of 2027.

Here's a breakdown of what the OPP's have to offer in this class.

Top 5 Right Side Hitters

1. [player_tooltip player_id='436889' first='Sophia' last='Smith'], Marian/Legacy: Smith has improved her game a lot in the last year and shows a lot more command and confidence. She can make all the shots and has added a lot to her defensive play.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='486269' first='Brooke' last='Johnson'], FH Northern/FaR Out: Johnson can play anywhere along the net, either pin or in the middle. She does a great job of consistently attacking the sidelines. Johnson also brings a potent serve to the floor.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='442978' first='Eleanor' last='Williams'], Romeo/Michigan Elite: Williams can play setter or dominate on the right side as a powerful left-handed arm. Along with her fierce attacks, Williams has proven to be a potent blocker that disrupts a lot of opposing attacks.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='442985' first='Josie' last='Seets'], Clarkston/Legacy: A 6'1” power arm that can play at either pin, Seets has seen a lot of success as of late in her finishing rate. She's getting on hot streaks with her ability to follow through and attack sharp angles.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='523873' first='Cecilia' last='Murray'], Marian/Michigan Elite: Murray has been finding a home more in the middle as of late, and it's paying off with some good film. She's got an aggressive swing with a potent finish and can play up tempo.

Others To Watch

[player_tooltip player_id='523832' first='Charley' last='Romeo'], Northville/L2: Romeo can play anywhere along the net and succeed, which gives her teams roster flexibility. She's got a good approach to the ball, which allows her to put down consistently strong attacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='513767' first='Rachel' last='Johnston'], Rochester Adams/High Performance: Johnston gets some great momentum heading toward the net and finishes well over the top of the ball to make for explosive kills. She just needs to keep adding to her consistency.

[player_tooltip player_id='490377' first='Coco' last='Bossardet'], East Grand Rapids/MVA: The 6-footer can really climb that ladder and play above the net. When she gets a clean look, her attacks can be unstoppable. She's shown the ability to finish from either pin.

[player_tooltip player_id='523836' first='Grace' last='Wetjen'], Pioneer/L2: This left doesn't have the length as some of the others on this list, but she shows a lot of explosiveness and plays a physical style at the net. She isn't afraid to battle.

[player_tooltip player_id='487784' first='Jillian' last='Jackson'], OLSM/Dynamite: Jackson plays with composure and consistency. She's got a short swing, but it generates a lot of pop without a lot of motion.
