Top Texas Liberos at the Salt Lake City Showdown

The libero gives the team a lot of defensive solidness with with her efficient game on the backcourt and is a key piece in their playing system. Roeder makes a major impact in the game with her defensive skills as she has incredible reflexes and excellent ball control to keep the ball off the floor - she moves very well and is always on top of it when handling tips. A very agile player, she will be seen making acrobatic digs as she works hard to keep the ball off the floor. Ratcliffe has excellent ball control and often manages to deliver perfect digs to her setter when she needs to dive to get to the ball. The libero is also very confident in serve-receive and typically covers a large portion of the court, freeing her hitters up. The libero is very quick to move on the court and that helps her tremendously both when playing defense and in serve-receive. Etter also has an amazing ability to read the game and that helps get get to the right spot a pass is too tight to the net or in scramble plays. She's a serve-receive specialist who does a great job of covering a large portion of the court and still delivering excellent passes to her setter, helping keep the team in system. Nash's superior ball control also makes of her an elite defender as she's capable of handling anything that goes her way - and will hustle to get to the swings that go around her. One of the top liberos in the state in her age group, she does excellent work on the backcourt, providing her team with great stability in their game. Fernandez is an elite passer and can easily cover half of the court herselft while mantaining her accuracy rate extremely high because of her ball control.
