June 15th is right around the corner and you know what that means... A LOT of talk about those insane 2027 athletes. While this may be another wicked class for the Mitten state, I would propose to not solely shift your attention to those 27s quite yet. Man, there is still SO much talent left on the table from the 2026 class.

From long time standouts finding an extra pep in their step, to late bloomers bursting onto the scene like mad men. The 2026 group has so much yet to offer that you must look out for.

There is still so much talent left to offer, we're going to have to break this down in a couple different parts! In it's first offering, here's a look at FORTY (40!) uncommitted 2026 stars out of Michigan that you can't miss! Let's take a look at the next section of this list.

[player_tooltip player_id='490341' first='Madeline' last='Ostrander'] - Grand Rapids Catholic Central/FaR Out

A long time fixture in the FaR Out 2026 class, [player_tooltip player_id='490341' first='Madeline' last='Ostrander'] is a steady presence at the net. While blocking has always seemed to have been her strong suit, in the recent months, Ostrander has elevated her game as an attacker as well. This is one of those player where I figure she would be set on her next chapter. However, this could be of benefit to many as Ostrander's game has only gone up from the early goings of her recruiting journey. She would be an absolute steal at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='586437' first='Madalin' last='Hersman'] - Forest Hills Northern/Legacy

Is she an attacker? Is she a setter? Well, maybe she is a libero. [player_tooltip player_id='586437' first='Madalin' last='Hersman'] is no stranger to wearing multiple hats on the court and rocking all of them. For the last several seasons, Hersman has been a part of the extremely strong MVBTA team that featured stars like [player_tooltip player_id='535138' first='Briawna' last='Zimmerman'] too. Both of which have branched out, Hersman found herself with the West side club for about a week before switching to Legacy on the east side. Here, Hersman played up an age group and ended up as the starting libero for 18-1 Adidas. In the role, she truly excelled and may have found a position to truly hone in on. Regardless of this, you'd get yourself one fine utility player.

[player_tooltip player_id='237538' first='Annalise' last='Clark'] - Lowell/FaR Out

If there is one thing that you'll surely get out of a FaR Out athlete, it is extremely trained ball control and tough defense. Some of the strongest liberos in the state have come out of this club in recent years, [player_tooltip player_id='237538' first='Annalise' last='Clark'] looks to be adding onto that rich tradition. Clark has been steady rocking the 'bro jersey for 17 Black all throughout the club season. She owns the back court and can take on a lot of space in both her defense and in reception duties.

[player_tooltip player_id='462081' first='Jadyn' last='Samson'] - Mendon/Dead Frog

On brand, there is a lot of strong libero and defensive specialists still up for grabs in this class. [player_tooltip player_id='462081' first='Jadyn' last='Samson'] is another one of those players. Samson has long been a favorite of mine in this class. In both her high school and club squads, Samson very much makes the difference on the court. This past off season, Samson had to tend to some nagging injuries which led to her ultimately opting out of the club season. With this in mind, a healthy, revived Samson could be a real catch for any program on the hunt for that diamond in the rough type player.

[player_tooltip player_id='226884' first='Faith' last='Cullen'] - Brighton/Michigan Elite

There may be a trend here, but I am telling you, you cannot skip out on these players. [player_tooltip player_id='226884' first='Faith' last='Cullen'] has long been one of the main fixtures in this 2026 class. For the the bulk of her career, Cullen was this undersized presence on the court that refused to stay quiet. She could attack a variety of shots, hanging and banging with the best of them. Unfortunately, on the cusp of the high school season, Cullen would suffer a season ending injury that would have her sidelined the entirety of her junior year.

However, this player is coming out of her rehab and is itching to get back on the court better than ever before. This player has the will and drive that just about any college coach should want on their roster.

[player_tooltip player_id='442613' first='Lily' last='Sukup'] - Goodrich/Five:1

There may be a lot more to where this came from. [player_tooltip player_id='442613' first='Lily' last='Sukup'] may have fallen under the radar, but this club season she has burst onto the scene! You never know when things will click, but Sukup is clicking and firing on a whole new level that we haven't seen from her before. This outside hitter is attacking with more range, more heat and doing it all with a lot more consistency. Given her recent trajectory shift, I would love to see what this player could do in a good training environment at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='261175' first='Kendal' last='Quain'] - Marysville/Crank It

I would go out on a limb here and label [player_tooltip player_id='261175' first='Kendal' last='Quain'] as a primary setter, but she is also an excellent attacker. Get you one that can do it all. That's pretty much what you could get out of a player like Quain. At the next level, i would peg Quain to be an excellent setter. However, she is such a balanced attacker, her knack to score could offer up a lot of very fascinating developments in her personal game as a QB1.

[player_tooltip player_id='216201' first='Cara' last='Wolf'] - Catholic Central/FaR Out

Right alongside Clark, [player_tooltip player_id='216201' first='Cara' last='Wolf'] provides FaR Out's 17 Black with a wicked 1-2 punch in the back court. Both of them, in tandem play such a tight knit defense. Wolf in the middle back can cover so much court, and she makes it look effortless. She has an eye for the game that takes her a step ahead of her peers. She is another athlete who I am quite surprised hasn't been scooped up yet for not only her abilities on the court, but her leadership as well.
