BAM Volleyball Club 16s Teams Profiles

They took steps this club season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Pink</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team saw some success under director Josh Devore's guidance with a 19-14 record. The team finished runner-up in two tournaments.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Six sophomore players came from Metcalfe County. They were [player_tooltip player_id='778592' first='Amelia' last='Slinker'] at defensive specialist, setters Ellie Landrum, [player_tooltip player_id='760764' first='Harper' last='Hurt'] along with hitters [player_tooltip player_id='535198' first='Mollie' last='Devore'], Lily Horton and Alivia Acree. Barren County sophomore middle blocker Reagan Griffiths gives the team height at 5-11. Adair County sophomore defensive specialist Callie Spoon and Allen County-Scottsville sophomore Ashlyn Meador round out the roster.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>White</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Annika Reed guided this team to an even 17-17 record.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Monroe County featured sophomore defensive specialist Jaylee Bartlee, Kyley Craighead, Rylee Lyons and Mattie Woods. Barren County sophomore Adrienne Mitchell played a middle blocker spot. Communication with her teammates is important as shown on the court. Hurt tries to use her athleticism to track down balls. She is also a strong server for the Hornets. She does a great job going hard after balls then squaring them up to remain under control. She has great range and will only improve with another year of club volleyball under her belt.
