Bluegrass Reign Volleyball 17s team overview

Junior setter [player_tooltip player_id='397716' first='Emma' last='Jane Hurley'] leads the way with junior defensive specialists [player_tooltip player_id='754079' first='Riley' last='Slattery'] and Lola Gleason setting her up with good passes along with West Jessamine sophomore defensive specialist Delaney Dix.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hurley has some good hitters to set up starting with junior Henry Clay teammate and middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='753685' first='Kelsie' last='Lawson']. Bryan Station junior Abigail Brown, Henry Clay junior Heidi Fay and East Jessamine freshman Hillary Stansbury are options in the middle. Slattery squares her arms up with balls well to consistently make sound, fundamental passes. She is not afraid to slide when necessary. However, she does it under control to constantly produce two to three-point passes. Hurley consistently mixes things up getting two to three hitters involved. Hurley does quicks, slide routes, back sets and other sets to keep defenders guessing. Hurley adds in a tough setter dump. She lines her body up with balls and makes the smooth passes into the imaginary box in the front row to Hurley to jumpstart the offense. Gleason does a good job moving her feet.
