I spend a lot of time talking about kids pretty much everyone has seen or heard of. At PrepDig, we do pride ourselves on covering kids that wouldn't normally be receiving coverage, which is what today's articles will cover. Here are six athletes from four different clubs that showed out on Sunday and have bright futures ahead of them.

Watching Hayden play first thing Sunday morning was refreshing, to say the least. Bringing it on every single swing, Miss Reeves hammered away at undisciplined blocks, received serve with ease, and was an overall pain against CVC 15 Black. Although her squad didn't have the finish they wanted, it was nice to see renewed energy from her and her team. Hayden led that charge in earnest, and should continue to do so in the future.

Long and lean for days, Kinley plays much bigger than her 6'1" frame. Her block takes up space, and she penetrates into the opponent's court with ease. Capable of terminating from both in front of and behind the setter, scoring points was NOT an issue for Miss Young. The last match I saw from this squad was all about feeding Kinley the ball. No, Boiler Juniors 16-1 didn't have the finish they wanted, either. But it's refreshing to see a kid go out and play hard regardless of the score or their result in a tournament.

At first glance, Chloe is just an M2 on the top team in the 16s division at Circle. Starting with the first whistle, it's all business for Chloe, who more than held her own against the bigger middles from 1st Alliance 16 Gold on Sunday. Transitioning quickly and getting up even quicker, Chloe's ability to terminate despite her size differential proves her athleticism and speed are off the charts for middles in this division. No, she doesn't fit the mold of a Power 4 middle. But she's beaten future Power 4 middles with speed, unreal athleticism and guile. Someone's going to LOVE having this young lady's skill set on their squad in the fall of '27.

I hadn't seen much of her club, Monon 16-1, simply because I've been at tournaments that they haven't been at. That being said, Mallory is a tough and strong outside that hammered away regularly, regardless of score. She was also a primary passer for this group, and was frequently making positive plays for the Pegasus despite their finish on Sunday. My favorite part about Miss Short was her relentlessness throughout the match I saw her play. Her squad looked overmatched against NKYVC's 16-1, but Mallory still brought 100% on every point.

With long arms and a high reach, Miss Tibbs comes from a long line of tall and athletic middles from Zionsville. Looking new to the club scene, Annaliese had some kills and blocks against the bigger and more experienced NKYVC, and was ready to play from the jump. Yes, there's some seasoning needed and a bunch of ball touches. But her athleticism is a great place to start, as she's an M2 in the making.
