With so many divisions and so many teams playing this weekend in the Indy Cup in and around central Indiana, it's hard to keep track of all of the different players, the different TYPES of players, and the kids that are just under the radar. Here are five athletes from three small clubs representing two different graduating classes that deserve a little love coming into the end of the club season.

Ainsley is a long and lean right side that can probably play either pin position at the next level. For now, the focus is on her arm swing and her ability to go up and over blocks regularly. Yes, the front three rotations are her focus, but for a kid playing up a couple of years on her club team, I like that she's playing against bigger, stronger and faster kids and holding her own.

Narrow-shouldered but capable of terminal swings and blocks, Miss Wilson has the wing span and leg drive to be a solid M2 for a small school at the next level. I have seen Madelyn own the middle against bigger and stronger middles because of (1) her length, and (2) her ability to read the attackers in front of her. The club she currently plays for is one of the smallest in Indiana, so she might be a steal for the right college fit. I'm looking forward to possibly seeing her this weekend, with aspirations on possibly watching her develop next fall in her senior season.

From one small club to another, Anna is what I call a "control outside". She's more than capable of playing all the way around, and spends a lot of her offensive time picking and choosing her shots similar to a beach player. I'd like to see a little more speed in her arm swing to see what she's really made of against tougher competition, but her minimized approach to attacking works for her. For now, expect Anna to be that steady-playing attacker that might not wow you at first glance, but certainly isn't the one making the irresponsible errors.

Springy and quick, Miss Moore is probably more set for a life of hitting from the pins than some of the middle play I've seen from her. Quick footwork and the ability to put away out-of-system balls without difficulty is her hallmark, and her physicality will carry her far in her recruitment. This is another prototypical future small-school kid---someone who can play multiple positions with a good deal of athleticism and strength.

Of the three listed here from Tier10, Paige is probably the most college-ready, as her size and playing style fit the mold of an M2 at a small school. I like her ability to pick and choose her angles, as she makes a ton of smart shots off of the sets that she gets. She does avoid errors when necessary, and I'd like to see a little more aggression from her when on an open net or against a solo blocker. For now, I'm looking forward to possibly seeing her perform against bigger and stronger blockers this weekend to see how she stacks up.
