We continue our rankings update and move on to the class of 2027. Their time is coming soon, as colleges will soon begin ringing their phones. We added multiple athletes, and we saw many make jumps in their rankings. Today, we take a look at the top ten.

We had some movement this go around, but none in the top five. This group stays steady with [player_tooltip player_id='475339' first='Shaye' last='Witherspoon'] leading the way. The 6'3" pin continues to improve in the areas of the game that increases her stock, which is her back row play. Still sitting in the second spot is 6'3" [player_tooltip player_id='544673' first='Marlee' last='Steiner']. The middle is a force offensively both in front and behind the setter and a monster defensively. [player_tooltip player_id='544668' first='Madelyn' last='Mannebach'] still holds down the third position. The 6'1" pin can score on both pins and exhibits the skills defensively to cause havoc at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='446328' first='Tori' last='Massengill'] has been key for her KC [program_tooltip program_id='428794' first='Power' last=''] squad this spring and hasn't done anything to hurt her case to stay in the top four. She is a player who wants the ball when her team needs a kill. [player_tooltip player_id='475322' first='Kate' last='Sherry'] was close to moving up, but remains in the five-hole. We have liked what we've seen from her this spring on video. From a distance, it appears she has an added level of confidence in her game, and you see it transfer over on the court.

We begin to see the movement in the next five spots. [player_tooltip player_id='544677' first='Caroline' last='Tenholder'] formerly held down the ninth place in the rankings and jockeyed up to the sixth spot after having a strong club season to date. She is a gamer and puts the ball down at a high clip. [player_tooltip player_id='485570' first='Eden' last='Robart'] represents the small school athletes but shows a big school game. A big plus was taking a majority of her swings from the pin this spring, and it made a difference. She has a heavy arm and is a dominant attacker in this class. She slides up to seven from eight. Gabriella "Gabby" Schwoeppe is currently the top-ranked setter in the class and moves from ten to eight. The 5'10" setter is technically sound and strong in her set placement and decision-making.

[player_tooltip player_id='396499' first='Kinley' last='Gillihan'] has been impressive for her Mavs team this season and is awarded a spot in the top ten at nine, up from eleven. She is a high-IQ middle who reads the block in front of her well. Rounding out the bunch is [player_tooltip player_id='512874' first='Olivia' last='Cox']. Another player who was just outside the top ten at thirteen jumps up to ten. The 6'2" opposite is a strong attacker who can spray the ball all over the court. She is also an above-average blocker and a headache for attackers.
