On Saturday, May 17, 2025, top 15U Division II teams took the court at Pearce Sports Center in San Bernardino, showcasing future-ready athletes with strong fundamentals, confident play, and high volleyball IQ. These athletes proved they have what it takes to compete at the next level and made it clear that the depth of talent in Southern California runs deep.   Here are 12 athletes who made a lasting impression with their performance.    [player_tooltip player_id='526557' first='Sydney' last='Rincon'] continues to show impressive growth as a setter for City 15 Gold. Her ability to run the court with a clear vision and steady presence has elevated significantly since the last time I saw her. She continues to play with a confident tempo that reflects her understanding of the game and her trust in her teammates.   Rincon's court communication stands out, as she is consistently in sync with her hitters, adjusting tempo and height based on their preferences and positioning. She makes calculated decisions before the play even unfolds, and her poise at the service line and awareness on defense reinforce her role as a leader on the floor. Her development is a strong indicator of the direction she is heading and the potential she holds at the next level. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='524278' first='Kingsley' last='Romande'] has established herself as a force in the middle for WAVE 15 Dave. Her attacking presence is undeniable, delivering hard-driven swings with confidence and purpose. What sets her apart is how actively she stays involved in every play, never taking a point off and always finding ways to contribute. Whether she is transitioning to the right or left, she adjusts seamlessly and finds ways to connect with her setter.   Kingsley plays with a visible love for the game, her energy and smile adding life to her team while her athleticism and timing make her a consistent threat at the net. Her development is clear, and she is quickly becoming a name college coaches should track closely. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='543096' first='Kylie' last='Richardson'], an outside hitter for [program_tooltip program_id='495219' first='Rancho' last='Valley Volleyball'] Club's 15 Premier team, continues to impress with her all-around game and court awareness. Her serve-receive platform is consistently clean, allowing her team to stay in system and execute their offense effectively. Defensively, she exhibits strong blocking skills, using her hands to seal the net and disrupt opposing attacks.   Offensively, Richardson's quick arm swing and ability to hit a hard cross-court shot make her a serious presence on the outside. Her performance demonstrates her continued development and potential to contribute at the next level. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     Mackenzie McDaniel, a right-side hitter for OCVC G15 Scott, stands out with her dynamic presence on the court. Her blocking technique is solid with a firm reach and a mature ability to read opposing hitters, allowing her to effectively shut down attacks.   Offensively, McDaniel uses excellent speed in her approach and delivers powerful swings, making her an offensive threat from the right side. Barbosa's ability to contribute effectively in various aspects of the game, from attacking to blocking, showcases her versatility and commitment to her team's success. Her enthusiasm and drive make her a standout player, and her ongoing development suggests a promising future at the collegiate level. I asked her what was one thing she wanted college coaches to know about her and she said, ""I'm someone who loves competition and wants to win not only for myself but for my teammates" ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='776560' first='Rose' last='Weiss'], a 5'11" middle blocker for COAST 15-Chris, makes a strong impression with her powerful presence at the net. She delivered one of the hardest hits out of the middle today. Her connection with her setter has become increasingly seamless, allowing her to execute quick attacks and snap the ball effectively to the right-side angle.   Weiss's ability to deliver hard-driven hits from the middle forces opponents to adjust their defensive strategies, creating opportunities for her team. Since beginning club volleyball at age 14, her rapid development and on-court awareness have made her a standout player to watch. Her growth and impact on the court suggest a promising future at the collegiate level. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='776551' first='Kayley' last='Paszczykowski'], a libero for OCVC G15 Scott plays with confidence and a composed presence on the court.
