ran the show. As one of the top setters in the gym, she consistently delivered a high, hittable ball with excellent location, the kind of set that makes an entire offense easier to run. Her jump sets were well timed, and she ran the offense with a confidence that made her the clear floor general every time she touched the ball.
What stood out most was her floor under pressure. Even when forced into bump-setting situations, Kendall maintained quality and still gave her hitters real opportunities to score. That is not a small thing. Plenty of setters look sharp when the pass is perfect. Kendall looked sharp when it wasn’t. As she put it herself, she is a left-handed oppo who loves to attack on two, a detail that says everything about a setter who refuses to be one-dimensional.
She controlled tempo with confidence and energy, and her footwork consistently put her in position before the ball even arrived, which is what allows a setter to dictate pace instead of chase it. When she rotated to the front row, she turned into a legitimate offensive weapon, attacking deep balls and second-ball opportunities without hesitation. That kind of two-way threat forces opposing blockers to respect her hands and her arm, which opens the floor for everyone else.
Beyond the technical package, Kendall took charge of the court. She brought contagious fire and positivity to every point, and when she wasn’t on the floor, she was on the sideline cheering just as loud. Her leadership and personality elevated everyone around her, and that combination, a true tempo-setter with an offensive gear of her own, is exactly what makes her the LovbLA Queen Setter.
Kendall was excited and grateful to win. Her advice to our LovbLA Setters: be a leader on the court, pour back into the team, and be loud enough to hype up your teammates in the difficult moments, not just the good ones.

controlled the tempo at the SoCal StockUp Showcase, delivering a high, hittable ball with excellent location on nearly every touch. She timed her jump sets well and ran her offense with real confidence, and even when forced into bump-setting situations she kept her sets clean and gave hitters a chance to score. When she rotated to the front row, she turned into an offensive weapon herself, attacking deep balls when the opportunity presented. What separates Stark further is her presence. She took charge of the court, stayed locked in and vocal from the sideline when she wasn’t on the floor, and brought a level of leadership and positivity that elevated her teammates around her.

Kendall Stark consistently created offensive options through her footwork and decision-making. She moved efficiently to the ball, delivered clean sets, and showed strong eye sequencing throughout the college camp. Rather than predetermining where the ball was going, she appeared to process information early and distribute based on what the play required.

Kendall Stark’s game immediately jumps out because of how many ways she can create pressure from the setter position. As a left-handed front-row setter, she is not just focused on tempo and distribution, she is actively looking to score through aggressive attacks, dumps, and blocks.
That offensive mindset has become even more dangerous as her blocking continues to improve.
Coaches have told me to reach back into the court and watch the hitter’s arm… and it worked.
That willingness to take coaching, apply it quickly, and turn it into production is exactly what is showing up in her game right now.
When matches get faster, Kendall’s instinct is to speed up the offense, stay low, and become even more vocal. Her game feels creative, aggressive, and increasingly difficult to defend when she is front row.

is developing into a setter who controls the game with confidence.
Stark is building into a 5-1 setter who can handle the demands of running an offense while staying active at the net as a blocker. Her focus and discipline reflect her commitment to mastering a role that requires both control and versatility. “I really have been working on being a 5-1 setter and being able to block then be ready to set,” she said. A left-handed setter who also competes in softball, Stark brings an added layer of athleticism and competitive edge to her role. As only a sophomore, she has already shown leadership qualities that point to a bright future in her recruiting journey. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

💡 How would you describe your role on the court, and what do you do to elevate the players around you?
On the court, I’m the quarterback of the team. My job is to lift up those around me and help carry the team to success. I’m always the first to cheer after a point and set the tone for the day. I elevate my teammates by giving pep talks before games and cheering them on through all their successes.
🧠 In high-pressure moments, what’s your mindset and how do you stay composed?
I love high-pressure moments. I think it’s exciting to play for something meaningful, whether it’s a chance to win or help my team move up a division. In those moments, I focus on my mechanics and stay locked in with my team instead of getting distracted by the other side. I also think about playing for my team, not just myself, which helps fire me up and lead with purpose.
💪🏽 What’s something specific you’ve been working to add to your game this season, and why?
This season, I’ve been working on building better connections with my middles. I love setting different types of balls for them, like a gap or a back 1. Strengthening that connection played a huge role in helping us win Division 2 at our end-of-season tournament, and I think it’s one of the most important pieces of a strong offense.
🌟 Off the court, how would your coaches and teammates describe you, and what personal qualities do you bring to a team culture?
They’d describe me as positive and supportive. I love lifting others up, bringing smiles to every room, and staying optimistic. My energy helps boost the team culture and keeps us motivated to work hard and improve.
💥 What’s a fun fact about you that you’d want college coaches to know?
I’m a dual-sport athlete and play competitive travel softball at a high level. At JSerra, I played varsity volleyball and varsity softball. This year, I was part of our CIF softball run where we finished second in Division 2.

, a 2028 setter and right-side hitter for JSerra, is stepping into Queen’s Court ready to showcase the payoff from a dedicated offseason. She focused intently on improving both her agility and vertical, knowing those tools would directly impact her performance on the court. “My agility will show when I chase after the pass to set it to my hitter,” she explained. “My vertical will show when I get to hit right side, and it will help me swing high and get around the block.”
Kendall is especially energized by the competition ahead and has one matchup in particular she’s looking forward to. “I am really hoping to play Santa Margarita,” she said. “They have always been our rivals, and I’m excited to show them this year who’s on top.”
What makes Kendall stand out is her versatility, not just in volleyball but across multiple sports. She competes year-round in softball, beach volleyball, and indoor volleyball, bringing a rare level of athletic diversity to her game. With her focus, drive, and dynamic skill set, Kendall is an emerging talent to watch at this year’s Queen’s Court.
