As the 2025 club season inches toward the finish line, it's time to start taking a look at the 2029 prospects that will be stepping into the Michigan high school spotlight in the fall.

As we've seen with recent classes, the Class of 2029 looks like it should produce some of the best volleyball players in the nation.

The 2029 prospects for L2 have shown a lot of growth and development this season, as shown by recent championships at the L2 Pre-Nationals and the MJVBA Championships.

Here's a look at some of the top players from this squad.

Lauren Nagle OH

Nagle has shown a knack for being able to put points away, whether its with a thunderous power swing, or a savvy offspeed play. She looks in complete control on the outside when it comes to making the right decision at the net. Nagle is also a standout defender that can easily make a dig and transition to a potent attack.

Lindsey Nagle S/RS

Nagle has brought a lot of consistency to the setter position, as she's been able to place the ball right where it is needed during high-pressure situation. Her awareness and court IQ get better with each month, leading to stronger instincts and more confidence on the floor. She also has the ability to put the ball away with force, becoming a dual-threat option.

Hayden Rogers S

It's important for a setter to have confidence and leadership. Well, Rogers shows both of those traits. She is a tireless worker that is putting in the time to be one of the best at the position in the class. Her competitive fire translates well and on the court, as she gives her hitters great sets to attack. She is also showing good awareness to recognize a matchup advantage quickly.

McKynzie Monroe MH

L2 believes that Monroe could be one of the real dark horse players in this class. Approach 6'0” in height, Monroe is getting closer to touching 10 feet and has picked up her speed on the floor throughout the club season. Her footwork and diverse shot options have made her a prospect with a high ceiling. She's also a fierce blocker.

[player_tooltip player_id='782729' first='Rachel' last='Unsworth'] MH

Another middle to keep an eye on from L2 is Unsworth. Approaching 6'0”, Unsworth has shown that she can put the ball down from the middle or on the pin. Touching 9'8” and getting higher, Unsworth has put in a lot of work to develop her all-around game and be an asset as a blocker as well. Unsworth likes to mix it up at the net, which bodes well for continued development.
