EVA 16 Elite Taking the Podium at AAU Nationals

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This EVA 16 Elite team showed true determination and grit in their run at AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida. After a long four days of volleyball, EVA 16 Elite came out in second place in the 16 Select division. They had an overall record of 12-2. They faced some very tough competition and ended up just short behind a very talented Northern Lights team. The roster of this EVA 16 Elite team is stacked with aggressive hitters, smart setters, and scrappy Liberos/ds. Her back court defense is unmatched and a huge reason as her team was able to make it to the championship game. Robinson is very effective in serve receive. She is very scrappy and is really great playing in the middle back. She is great at catching the opposing defense off guard and finding them on their heels to score a point. She does a great job at drawing the blockers in to create an open net for herself. She does a great job at keeping the blockers scrambling and giving her attackers open nets. Miller has a very high volleyball IQ and knows when and who to set at all times. She does a great job at setting up her attackers for success and in scoring positions. Her quick arm swing and powerful snap makes it very hard for the opposing defense to defend. She reads the setter well putting her in a comfortable blocking position. She also does really well at seeing the block out in front of her and swinging around it. She adjust her arm swing in the air as she is able to read the block to allow her to swing around the block.
