Mitchell mainly does the forearm passes, but is not afraid to go to the overhand and dive passes when needed to keep plays alive and make things happen out of system. She has good range to track down balls. Petkovic is sound and consistent with her first touches. Petkovic has shown she can handle hard shots toward the lines. Petkovic makes handling cross-court shots and soft shots look easy as the result of her hard work and repetitions over the years.
