Grigsby (pictured) continues to diversify her sets, both long and short. They are more crisp with another club season under her belt. Entering her third season as the starting setter for Scott, Grigsby has a great connection with two-time defending 10th Region Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id='212393' first='Milyn' last='Minor']. She made continuous adjustments to the other hitters on her team, showing she can adapt to different styles.

Puckett had an outstanding two games in the front row. Puckett earned a number of blocks on taller hitters in both games. Puckett also took some nice swings and did a good job backing up at the net on blocked balls. Her improvement could be a key this fall if Cooper hopes to move back toward the top of the 9th Region.

Berwanger does a good job influencing balls at the net. Opponents know they can not hit directly into her blocks so they either tip or even send them high and wide. Berwanger consistently gets her hands on balls. Berwanger puts amazing thunder into balls, especially on her cross-court shots. The righty Berwanger is not afraid to use her off-hand to catch opponents off-guard.

Kramer has taken big steps forward in recent months on first touches. She does a great job hustling to balls and keeping them alive with a nice platform. Kramer stays under control constantly producing two to three-point passes.

Muzumdar looks ready to step into a bigger setting role for the Bluebirds this fall. She moves from the back row into her setting position quickly. She learns hitters quickly and puts the right amount of touch on the sets.
