The majority of teams attending earned a bid to the tournament, either through a Regional Bid Tournament or by placing high enough in a qualifier tournament, such as the PNQ or Salt Lake City Showdown. Cat quick and very explosive out of the middle, Bernard hammers down kills before opposing defenders have time to set any sort of block. The respect she demands as an attacking threat opens up the rest of the offense for the team overall.
