USA Volleyball GJNC Showcase – Setters Who Shined Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are super excited to partner with USA Volleyball once again to run the official college recruiting showcase for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships.&nbsp; The first session will be held on June 24^th and the second session will be on June 29^th at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, TX. The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed.&nbsp; Let's take a look at some of the setters who stole the show with their impeccable skills at the showcase.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='784982' first='Natalie' last='Chaabouk']-Beltran</strong> <strong>[2027] 5-7 Setter (HS: Riviera/Club: Miami Hype/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This young lady was on fire throughout the entire showcase in the positional drills and during the scrimmage portion.&nbsp; I loved how she understands the game with a high volleyball IQ and moves the ball around to everyone.&nbsp; You can tell by the way she plays the game that she loves to set.&nbsp; We had her on the top court for a reason and she proved that she belonged there.&nbsp; Her hands looked extremely soft as the ball just floated out of them with ease.&nbsp; She was able to track down every pass due to some fast footwork that moved her around the court quickly.&nbsp; Her court coaches nominated her for a Top Performer award during the event and it was definitely warranted.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on a very impressive performance at the USAV GJNC Showcase.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Emerson Lewis</strong> <strong>[2028] 6-1 Setter (HS: Deerfield Academy/Club: Athena/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We loved everything about Miss Lewis and how she performed throughout the night.&nbsp; Everyone will notice her length as she stands at six foot one, but they will marvel at her skill set once they watch her for a short while.&nbsp; Not only is she able to set both front row and back row, but she does it with amazing athleticism and lots of heart.&nbsp; She is definitely one to watch for college coaches due to her size as they will love what she brings to the table with it.&nbsp; The fact that she is only a freshman is what is super impressive.&nbsp; In a few years, she will be one amazing recruit to watch.&nbsp; I will definitely be keeping my eyes on her and you should as well. &nbsp;Her court coaches nominated her for a Top Performer award during the event and I could easily see why.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on a very impressive performance at the USAV GJNC Showcase.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='630739' first='Grace' last='Coan']</strong> <strong>[2028] 5-5 Setter (HS: Oak Ridge/Club: [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston']/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Miss Coan proved that she is an athlete to watch due to her awesome leadership as a setter.&nbsp; Her court coaches nominated her for a Top Performer award during the event for more than just her physical skill set.&nbsp; She showed an awesome ability to stay positive during long rallies and move the ball to each hitter to give her team a fighting chance to win.&nbsp; We were all very impressed with her solid mirror-image hand placement on the ball and how she was able to be very accurate with her location.&nbsp; Because of this awesome precision setting that was on display, I am very intrigued to put her on our Watch List.&nbsp; She has earned some looks from our scouts and we couldn't be more proud to have had her in our showcase.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on a very impressive performance at the USAV GJNC Showcase.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes.&nbsp; If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>. &nbsp;&nbsp;Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.&nbsp; Help us help them by simply reposting on Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) or sharing on Facebook.&nbsp; Thanks for following Prep Dig Family!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
