<p>Lonestar Classic weekends are big talk for National teams and they have begun! As club season comes to a close and the final chances of securing a bid to nationals spring into action, the competition is heavy. Last week began the thrilling trilogy that is Lonestar Classic. With tournament locations being a little more scattered this year, there is a lot of opportunities to be seen. I spent weekend 1 in Houston at GRB to catch some intense match ups for bid chasers. Running a full game is no easy feat, and Tinsley handles it with ease. She keeps her team running at a clean and even tempo throughout play, giving her hitters something reliable. Her consistency boosts the confidence of her teammates and reassures control of momentum. A 5-1 offense with this girl... no hesitation. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='805228' first='Gracie' last='Hobin'], a Middle with a serve! There is no doubt in her ability to deliver at the net, Gracie can hang with the best of them. She can swing, she can close a block consistently, she is a true middle blocker. However, having a middle who can also do damage from the serving line is a big plus and Gracie is sure to deliver the advantage. The energy, the skill, the persistence, Gracie is a big key to this team.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='534384' first='Jordan' last='Morrow'], 6 rotation outside for [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'], delivers a big play every time. Her ability to swing from anywhere is an advantage her team utilizes often, and with good reason. She is a threat from anywhere and makes herself known the second she steps on the court. Whether she is serving, swinging, or defending, Jordan is going to get the job done. Ready to see more of her in Indy.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='808171' first='Caylee' last='Young'], ds/Lib for [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'], takes her defense to the next level. She stays on her toes and is ready to move through any ball. Her hitter coverage means business, assuring her hitters to swing with confidence. Caylee, is quick and dedicated to serving her team on every play, just the kind of defender needed at the national level. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Lefty rightside hitter for [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'], [player_tooltip player_id='534319' first='Aspen' last='Brown'] brings the energy and block for her team. The key to any good rightside is the ability to stop opposing outsides, and Aspen brings that to the game. Her game is fueled by executing the play, whether its a block or a kill you'll know when she's apart of it. High energy, high IQ, and an evident dedication to her team, she is a sight to see.</p>
