A Look At Established 2028 Blockers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To finish up my coverage for July, I will have four reports covering the Class of 2028.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Members of this class have one year of varsity ball under their belts, or played junior varsity or freshman ball last fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This group of featured athletes all finished with at least 60 blocks in varsity action during the last prep season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This is not an all-inclusive list, as some schools do not post public statistics, and there are athletes on MaxPreps who finished with at least 60 blocks, but are missing key information on their MaxPreps profiles that need to be included in order to be featured on Prep Dig.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we close into the season, it's not too early to suggest that high school coaches provide stats on MaxPreps and include an athlete's height and position. She is ranked No. 169 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028 rankings. She also recorded 59 kills during her freshman campaign.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='575955' first='Raegan' last='McDonald']</strong>, 6'2”, MB/RS, Valley Center, '28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Valley Center's McDonald is ranked No. 9 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. She finished her freshman season collecting 75 blocks and 57 kills in 75 sets played for the Hornets.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='809978' first='Elizabeth' last='Weinert']</strong>, 6'0”, MB/OH, Olathe North, '28</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Weinert is ranked No. 8 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028.
