Combs (*pictured) is an all-everything type of player. She will return for her senior season to help lead Seton through another tough schedule with an opportunity to repeat their DI state championship run from 2024. This team has a solid core group coming back with Combs providing a lot with her arm and in what she can do in other phases of the game. The NC State commit earned 327 total kills last fall for a 3.7 k/s average.

Magnificat reached the DI region final round in 2024 behind Borowy's team best offense of 5.1 k/s. She terminated 342 kills at a very respectable 41% rate to go along with 148 digs and 40 aces. The 6'0 pin, committed to UCONN, has good range in her offense to be able to score from either pin and with power or finesse in her arm control. Expect her experience to be a factor for Magnificat and their combination of talent representing a range of grade levels. They should be in the mix for another deep postseason run.

The 6'2 Palumbo returns to Dublin Jerome after a career best effort in 2024. She increased her previous output significantly as she produced 390 total kills for a 4.8 k/s average. The Navy commitment is certain to have another monster season given her ability to terminate at a high rate in using her length and touch point well at either pin. Last season, Palumbo led the Celtics in hitting percentage and service aces to match her offensive impact.

Ostendorf has been a major factor for Fairfield throughout her prep career. In 2024, her impact shifted to more of an offensive role while still maintaining contributions as a setter. Earning 145 kills in 2023 along with 578 assists and nearly 200 digs, she saw big increases in 2024 with 371 kills and 227 digs. Her 3.7 k/s average last season were supported by 282 assists and a career best 74 service aces. She is committed to Illinois College.

Long is the top returning arm in DI entering the 2025 season. She earned 404 total kills to lead all hitters in the ECC in 2024 during which she and her team finished with a 9-9 league record. Although a primary hitter during the high school season, most of her time with [program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last='']'s top 17U team was providing support in the passing and defensive phases out of the back row, where she has good tools to get involved with big impact.
