PIL Preview and Players to Watch

The 2025-26 high school season starts in just a few weeks, with some key returning players for each team. Let's take a look at the Portland Interscholastic League recap and the players you'll need to keep an eye on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#1- Grant High School&nbsp;</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grant led the PIL with their league wins at 8-0. Their overall wins were 26-7 placing them at #8 on the OSAA rankings. In 2023, they placed #16, jumping up eight spots. Grant has won the PIL two years in a row, finally beating out Ida B. OSAA ranked them #27 in the state, sliding down from their #20 position in 2023. But watch out, Ida B.
