Ranked at #2 overall and #1 for setting for the class of 2026, Buerkle has made a lot of improvement over the season and has become a very impressive and talented all-around player. While setting for the OJVA 15-1 team during Regionals, Buerkle used a soft touch and a quick release to place the ball consistently with each set. She is a natural leader on the court, and she’s willing to play wherever she is needed, sometimes switching from setting to hitting from the right side throughout matches. Buerkle also showcased her good decision making as a setter during Regionals, running the middles often and moving her sets around.
