This is the third report featuring athletes who can set impressive career benchmarks in their final prep season.

The benchmark this time is 1,500 career digs.

Prep Dig Kansas enjoys featuring athletes when they celebrate reaching career marks, but it is not always easy to know who those athletes are, especially with some schools not keeping track of personal statistics.

During the season, feel free to tag me on social media or send me an email when an athlete reaches an important career mark, usually starting at 1,000 and then every 500-plateau reached from there.

Here are four unselfish defensive standouts who could reach 1,500 digs this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='460352' first='Ella' last='Foster'], 5'4”, DS/L, Hayden, '26

Foster is ranked No. 30 overall and has had an excellent summer season. She finished her junior season with 455 digs in 99 sets. She has posted back-to-back seasons with 400-plus digs. The Hayden prospect has 1,088 career digs and will reach 1,500 with 412 digs in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='699366' first='Ally' last='Scheele'], 5'8”, DS/L, Hanover, '26

Scheele has 1,041 total digs entering her senior campaign. She recorded 655 digs in 88 sets played during her junior season. The bulk of her digs have come over the past two seasons for Hanover. She is ranked No. 104 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='574140' first='Adelynne' last='Strecker'], 5'6”, DS/L, Little River, '26

Little River's Stecker would need a career season in digs to reach 1,500. She has collected 934 digs heading into her senior year. She registered 487 digs in 103 sets played as a junior, this after a sophomore campaign with 386 digs. Stecker is ranked No. 211 overall by Prep Dig Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='523687' first='Olivia' last='Stein'], 6'0”, OH, Ingalls, '26

Stein is a six-rotation stat monster. She was featured once already this week as she closes in on 2,000 career kills and could make a run at 3K. She has 911 career digs entering her senior season and has an outside chance at reaching 1,500. She had a career-high 466 digs last season as a junior. She is ranked No. 9 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 and has verbally committed to Wichita State.
