2025 Season Kickoff: Five Hitters Off to Explosive Starts

<p>The 2025 high school season is barely underway, but several hitters across Nevada are already making their presence felt in a big way. From powerful swings at the pins to consistent six-rotation production, these athletes have opened the year with statement performances that demand attention. A standout from BBVC this past club season, she brings a heavy, consistent arm to the outside and scores with precision. Averie was one of the top performers at our Freshman Showcase, immediately showing next-level potential. With her size, power, and IQ, she's a huge asset for Sierra Vista's varsity squad and a name to track closely in the coming years. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">#2 in the state</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">After transferring to Las Vegas High, Aaliyah wasted no time making her presence felt. Coming off a strong season with Vegas Aces 16 Ren, she's carried that momentum into high school play, tallying 66 kills already. Her clean mechanics and power-driven swing give her a true kill-first mentality, while her aggressive serve adds another weapon to her game. Aaliyah is a high-impact pin capable of scoring from anywhere on the floor. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">#3 in the state</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">Constanze's year-round grind between club and beach volleyball is paying off. She's developed a quick approach and a higher contact point, allowing her to hit with pace over the block despite her size. Her improved vertical, likely boosted by beach training, gives her the ability to elevate and attack with authority. Add in her smooth movement and developing confidence, and she's shaping into a go-to option with 63 kills and counting this season. --Kantessa Bryant-Miller @prepdignv</p>     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">#4 in the state</h2>   <p class="text-gray-700">Anne is no stranger to the varsity stage, but this year she's elevating her impact, ranking top five in the state with 59 kills. A physical attacker from either pin, she brings a heavy swing and a consistent ability to terminate rallies. What sets her apart is her two-way game—she's nearly matched her kill numbers with digs, proving herself as a dependable six-rotation presence. Now entering her third year of varsity play, she brings experience, confidence, and true six-rotation ability.
