Meet the Nominees
In Spanish Springs' season opener against Galena High School, AJ came out strong, leading the team with 7 aces. She added 6 digs, 1 block, 4 kills, and an impressive 42 assists, powering the Cougars to a thrilling five-set win. A dominant all-around performance to kick off the season!

Ezra dominated for the Fairlawn Jets in their season opener against the Graham Falcons in the first week of games. She filled the stat sheet with 6 aces, 7 kills, 6 digs, and 1 block. Beyond her performance, she consistently motivated her teammates, celebrating their big plays and showing true leadership throughout the game.
Highlights
Reese, a standout from the Class of 2029, delivered a powerhouse performance in an epic five-set victory over Elgin. She racked up an incredible 26 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 aces, proving to be a dominant force at the net and a key factor in the win. Her energy and clutch plays helped swing the momentum when it mattered most. For her outstanding efforts, Reese was rightfully named Player of the Game.

In the season opener, Taylor came out strong, recording an impressive 25 kills, 11 digs, 5 aces, and 1 block to lead her team to a four-set victory. Her dominant offensive performance and all-around contributions set the tone for the match. With those 25 kills, Taylor now stands at 943 career kills—closing in on an incredible milestone in her high school volleyball career.

Brianne delivered a powerhouse performance in a five-set thriller against a dominant Indiana squad, Our Lady of Providence. She racked up an incredible 30 kills, relentlessly attacking at the net and proving to be unstoppable throughout the match. Her intensity and consistency were key in pushing her team through one of their first battles of the season.

Nya is a 6-rotation starter for Chaminade Varsity and Actyve 17s Navy, with AAU Nationals experience. She's known for her elite volleyball IQ, strong serve receive, and ability to score from both pins, consistently making an impact in all phases of the game. Earlier this month at the Lakewood Molten Classic, Nya tallied 37 kills over two matches—showcasing her offensive dominance and all-around skill.

At the Seeds of Success Tournament hosted by Fleming County, KY on August 23rd, Sydney was named to the All-Tournament Team after an outstanding all-around performance. She recorded 46 assists, 46 digs, and 39 kills with a .227 hitting percentage, helping lead Russell to a strong 3rd place finish.

Giada Faulkner has been a dedicated Libero for six club seasons and serves as Co-Captain at Rosary, showcasing her versatility by playing Libero, DS, and even OH when needed. Recently, she helped the Freshman team secure a win against Long Beach on 8/19, and in a match against Kennedy on 8/21, Giada contributed several strong receives, 5 defensive digs, and 11 kills.

Laekyn earned a well-deserved spot on the All-Tournament Team, dominating the court by leading her team in digs, aces per set, and total aces. With relentless coverage and virtually no misses, she was everywhere on the court, fueling her team with unmatched energy and determination every single play.
