The Up Next Showcase is our first ever middle school showcase to be run and it was intended to teach young players what to expect in a showcase setting. It was held at the Excel Facility in Carrollton, TX and was also live streamed via BallerTV. There were tons of amazing athletes from all over the nation who were giving their all in both the positional drills and also the team scrimmages. We had each of our court coaches watch their team and select one player from each squad that embodied the core values of Avoli. There were some amazing young ladies nominated and we could not be more proud of who was selected to win this prestigious award.

[player_tooltip player_id='848542' first='Danielle' last='Bazan'] is someone who stood out from the moment she stepped on the court. The five-foot eight class of 2030 outside hitter who is zoned to Rockhill high school is the epitome of a hard-working leader. We moved her up to the top court immediately after we saw what she brought to the positional drills. Not only did she prove to be a stellar attacker and ball control expert, but she also embodied the definition of a great sportsmanship and leadership by example. It was fun getting to know her on the court and we think she has tons of potential to be a true kill leader in the state. Her frame, strength, rapid footwork, silky smooth movement, and great attitude on the court make her one heck of a recruit to watch for the foreseeable future. Armed with a cannon for an arm and quick footwork that help her to glide around the court with ease, she is a true six-rotation left side attacker that will help any roster become more explosive.

At the end of the showcase, she showed just how valuable she was by being able to use impeccable ball control and relentless pursuit of the ball to help her team on the defensive side of the ball. Her court coaches and I enjoyed every second we spent with her and think she will be a household name in the recruiting circles in the next few years. Please help us congratulate this awesome young lady for earning this prestigious prize.
