This group of committed ballers and nationally recognized prospects will seek to repeat their dominance of two consecutive 5A State Championship wins because these Gaels have earned &amp; proven they have what it takes to be the best at a high level. Coach Jaz's leadership is echoed throughout the valley! The very strong on the court leadership of [player_tooltip player_id='550487' first='Julie' last='Beckham'] (UNLV), [player_tooltip player_id='809929' first='Rachel' last='Purser'] (Hawaii), [player_tooltip player_id='525323' first='Gentry' last='Oblad'] (GCU) &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='807776' first='Hannah' last='Wayment'] (University of Missouri-Kansas City) will lead a powerful group of players that have proven themselves to be among the top recruiting prospects in the 2026-2028 classes and their efforts will be on full display. Every match will be met with excitement, intention &amp; they're destined to succeed. This team continues to perform at a very high level, showing themselves worthy to be in the 5A State Championship contention and this program &amp; coach will undoubtedly seek to continue the style of play that commands the respect of it's opponents. After dominating the 4A division for two seasons, Coaches Nicole Murphy &amp; Azure Werner are determined to blaze a path that continues the success not only for their program, but for each student-athlete that competes for Durango which consist of Nevada Top 2027 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='540514' first='Taylor' last='Anderson'], [player_tooltip player_id='590035' first='Aracelli' last='Hernandez'], [player_tooltip player_id='520116' first='Maya' last='Dominguez'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='543169' first='Grace' last='Gonsalves']. The very effective composition of this team throughout the last two seasons has been very rewarding and this group has no plan to slow down. Look for this the Trailblazer team to make an immediate impact in the 5A division because this group has everything to talk about more. She is a straight-shooter &amp; has driven her athletes to great success as individuals &amp; as a program, proving that goals will be accomplished with dedication and hard work which has resulted in two consecutive 4A State Championship appearances and this starts with their four-year varsity starting setter, quarterback &amp; commander [player_tooltip player_id='722009' first='Miy'Aja' last='Diggs'], three-year varsity starter [player_tooltip player_id='573493' first='Arial' last='Fox'], [player_tooltip player_id='536095' first='Raelene' last='Miguel'], [player_tooltip player_id='800292' first='Ava' last='Alvaro'] &amp; [player_tooltip player_id='542774' first='Ivanna' last='Aparicio']. These lady Longhorns have maintained high level play that has commanded the respect of the community and their supporters and they'll look to continue their dominance with every effort to secure their first 4A title!
