However, there were three 2026 talents that have made a name for themselves already and put their skills on display to show their growth over the last year.

Here's what we saw out of these incoming seniors.

[player_tooltip player_id='706598' first='Soniah' last='Robinson'], OH Woodhaven/Michigan Elite

Robinson is a recent commit to Aquinas College and she looks like she is playing with an even higher level of confidence than usual. She's always showed good explosion at the net, but Robinson looks to have polished up all phases of her game in the last year. She has shown a heightened level of awareness and court recognition, while adding new aspects to her attack. Already with an impressive vertical, Robinson can really glide through the air and deliver a powerful kill without much effort. She is sure to go on some hot streaks at the net this fall and can be a great asset for Aquinas in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='726490' first='Nevaeh' last='Plaster'], OH GR Northview/Rise Academy

Plaster found a college home recently as well, committing to the University of Saint Francis. She also took the court this Sunday with a lot of confidence and swagger. She made sure she left an impression on any coach/scout that was watching along, as she had some of the most powerful swings of the entire Showcase. Plaster has turned her attack up another level, showing an improved follow through over the last year, but she's also doing a nice job of recognizing when to mix things up with some offspeed shots while altering her locations. Defensively, Plaster also continues to get better and plays off instinct. This should be a big fall for the outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='586761' first='Alexis' last='Carper'], MB Roscommon/LHVBA

Carper was a prospect I was interested to see in person, as she been a big force in Northern Michigan. This was a great opportunity to show just how talented she is against other top hitters in the state, and Carper didn't disappoint. You could see from the start of the Expo that she wanted to drop the hammer every opportunity she got. She's got big power from the middle and the outside, as she's able to sky in the air and utilize an athletic wind up to unload on defenses. Her defensive play is underrated as well. She was a consistent blocking force and came through with some tough digs during long rallies. Carper is a name to watch and should have a future at the next level.
