Fall Rankings Update: 2026 Liberos

[player_tooltip player_id='226908' first='Meredith' last='Martin'], Marian/Legacy: </strong>A Michigan commit, Martin is able to play outside hitter in the fall and do so at a high level, but it is her defensive play that has landed her in an elite place nationally.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2. [player_tooltip player_id='226897' first='Charlotte' last='Gramzow'], Lutheran Northwest/Michigan Elite: </strong>Like Martin, Gramzow plays outside hitter in the fall, but excels as a defender and will play the libero position at Northern Illinois in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>3. [player_tooltip player_id='240701' first='Giselle' last='Burlingame'], Northville/Michigan Elite: </strong>A Wayne State commit, Burlingame is very steady and reliable with her play. She anticipates the ball well and communicates effectively in the back row.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>4. [player_tooltip player_id='226910' first='Kayla' last='Ostrander'], Eisenhower/Legacy: </strong>Ostrander is a dig machine that puts up numbers not many players can match. She's smooth with her footwork and seems to see the play developing before anyone else. Ostrander is committed to Eastern Michigan.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>5. [player_tooltip player_id='226913' first='Abbigayl' last='Sells'], Lake Fenton/Legacy: </strong>A commit to Louisiana Tech, Sells has quick feet and times out her sprawls and dives well to get under the ball. She brings a lot of toughness and competitiveness to the back row.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Others to Note</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Madlin Hersman, FH Northern/Legacy: </strong>Hersman is another defender that can also play outside hitter due to her versatility and all-around talents. It gives an added boost to have her defensive ability in the back row alongside another DS or libero.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='237538' first='Annalise' last='Clark'], Lowell/FaR Out: </strong>Clark has put up big numbers in recent years to emerge as one of the top defenders in this class. Though committed to Hungtington, Samson keeps putting in the extra time to be the best she can be for her team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='216201' first='Cara' last='Wolf'], GR Catholic Central/FaR Out: </strong>Wolf is committed to Malone College in Ohio. She's shown big strides in her game each season and is off to a hot start in 2025 to make GRCC look like a title contender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='517120' first='Rayeann' last='Deriemacker'], Anchor Bay/Crank It: </strong>Deriemacker has been an unsung hero within the state for her play in the back row.
