Carroll (pictured) is just as impressive as anyone on this list. Carroll's dedication to the sport shows on the court with her great effort on every play. Carroll has a quick arm swing, has great ball placement and does a great job reading defenses. Carroll is especially tough on shoots and crosses. Carroll can power balls through sound double blocks with a high vertical jump. Carroll is also a solid defender. Carroll leads the Redhounds with 232 kills on the season to go with 164 digs.

Cannon played for a high-level club team in the spring and the fast-pace has helped her make a contribution for the Mustangs. She controls the net with timely jumps for blocks and powerful kills with a great follow-through. Cannon powers through sound double blocks and is not afraid to tap balls to open spots on the court using her size. Cannon also makes good passes to start the offensive rhythm.

In the long line of great liberos and defensive specialists that have worn the Notre Dame uniform, Grout is ready to make her mark. She anticipates balls well and does she can to form walls around balls for sound two to three-point passes so the setters can set up the size in the front row for big swings. Grout makes sound decisions on the court bettering balls each time she touches one. Grout leads the Pandas with 213 digs on the season.

Clarke is one of the top freshman setters in the state for a reason. She takes the floor with amazing confidence and it has caught on with her teammates. She moves her feet well and does a variety of sets to keep opponents guessing. The six-rotation player also gives the Warhawks sound play on defense and takes sound swings when needed. Her versatility should come in handy for Great Crossing for a while.

Helton has done a great job stepping into a big role for the Tigers. Helton has quickly learned the hitters and puts balls in their power zones. Defensively, Helton's quick reflexes help her keep plays alive. Helton makes sound overhead and bump passes. Helton is also turning into a nice blocker for Paintsville. Helton has 374 assists and 116 on the season for the Tigers.
