The Blue Devils are off to a 10-0 start, which includes gutting out back-to-back 3-2 wins earlier this month over solid programs in South Webster and the single loss Pirates from Wheelersburg. Relying on young talent in 2024, several of those athletes are back with more experience and developed skills. The addition of a high power freshman arm this season is helping to drive this group's collective success. Here are some of their prospects to keep an eye on going forward.    The 6'2 junior is having another productive offensive year for Gallia Academy as she is averaging 3.3 k/s. The team's top offensive arm in 2024, she is a high volume attacker with the ability to terminate with good pace and movement on the ball from both sides of the court. Although her average per set is slightly down from last season, her efficiency has climbed as she is at a career best .314. As the Blue Devils have dropped only six total sets across 10 matches in 2025, Frazier has earned double-digit kills in eight of those contests, including a season high of 17 versus South Webster.     Barnes has been a huge addition to the Blue Devils' attack as she leads this team offensively at 4.4 k/s, one of the best season efforts thus far among all Ohio 2029 hitters. Recently named the Ohio Valley Conference Athlete of the Week, Barnes has earned more than 20 kills in a single match three times so far. She is an aggressive attacker with good lift off the floor that includes awareness and control to swing with purpose at the top of her jump. As she cleans up her movement patterns she will be even more dangerous at her contact point and will likely improve her .242 efficiency. She also adds 9.6 d/m.     Clark is just what this team needs given their potent pin attack as she has good range of offensive tools in the middle phase. Her ability to score through a variety of attack points requires opposing middles to track her through her front row rotations, which can create space for others to swing aggressively. She is developing good mechanics to hit off of one foot on a slide option, which helps to expand her range through the right side of the court. At 6'3, she has good length in averaging 2.1 k/s and 1.3 b/m, helping support their back row effort on the defensive side as this team picks up nearly 50 digs per match.     Clark runs this offense with good decisions and location that helps create quality opportunities for her key arms. In her third season guiding the Blue Devils as the primary setter, the 5'6 junior has dished over 1,800 assists and is sitting on a career best average of 10.6 a/s in guiding them to their unbeaten record. Her hitters benefit from her ability to set a varied offense, which offers different options to mix things up throughout the match. Clark also gets in done at the service line as she has 114 career aces along with adding over eight digs per match this season.     Bennett is a complete multi-sport athlete that anchors the Blue Devils' defense with big action and a lot of grit in her range production. She leads the team at 17.6 digs per match through good eyework, balanced preparation, and pursuit to contact. She is on pace to shatter her season average from 2024 of 12.6 d/m. So far this season she has earned 179 total digs. This includes 21 digs in the first match of the season before setting a new career record of 31 in their 3-2 win over Wheelersburg. Bennet also has 79 aces across 2024 and 2025.
