Meet the Nominees
In an electrifying match between Van Buren and McComb, Van Buren came out on top with a hard-fought victory in four sets. Leading the charge was Brooklyn, who delivered a dominant all-around performance. She lit up the stat sheet with an impressive 28 kills, 16 digs, 2 blocks, and 2 aces, proving to be a relentless force on both offense and defense. Her standout effort was key in securing the win for Van Buren.

Raina is a true leader on the court, her athleticism allows her to make game-changing plays from every position. Her standout performance against Cathedral Prep, where she racked up 23 kills and 20 digs, earned her the well-deserved title of Butler County's Athlete of the Week. Raina's impact goes beyond high school; her club team has qualified for Nationals three years in a row thanks to her relentless effort and skill.

Charlotte made a statement in her Varsity debut for North Hagerstown, earning a starting spot as a freshman and immediately making an impact. She helped lead her team to back-to-back sweeps, powering them to a strong 2–0 start to the season. In a standout performance on the road against Boonsboro High School, the reigning 2024 1A State Champions, Charlotte delivered under pressure with 26 serves, 7 aces, 6 kills, and 5 blocks.

Loryn delivered a breakout performance this week, notching a career-high 11 kills with a stellar .448 hitting percentage and adding a solo block in just three sets. Her dominance at the net has propelled her to the #1 ranking in Nebraska for the Class of 2028 and #5 overall in the state for hitting percentage.

Aubree delivered a powerful performance against Mancos High School. She racked up 21 kills with just 6 hitting errors on 43 attempts. Averaging 7 kills per set and finishing with an impressive 49% kill rate, she was unstoppable at the net. Now leading both her team and the entire 1A/2A San Juan League in kills and hitting percentage, Aubree has totaled 91 kills in just 15 sets. Her impact has helped propel Dolores High School to a perfect 6–0 record, ranked 2nd in the state for 2A and 1st in their league.

Despite the team's loss, Tala delivered an outstanding performance that kept her squad battling until the final point. In their match against the Rancho Solano Mustangs on September 11th, she racked up an impressive 26 digs, showcasing her relentless defense and court awareness. That effort brings her season total to 124 digs, which is a huge testament to her consistency and impact.

Brielle has been on fire at the net, delivering back-to-back dominant performances. She tallied 21 kills with a .386 hitting percentage against Calvary Christian, followed by 10 kills and an even more impressive .471 hitting percentage against Indian Rocks. Her outstanding play earned her MaxPreps Player of the Game honors on September 11, and she set a new school record for highest hitting percentage. Brielle is proving to be a powerhouse presence and a key offensive weapon for her team.
