The senior outside hitter had one of the most impressive matches offensively across the state on Monday as her 33 kills were one of her best outputs this season. This is the seventh match of the season that she has reached 30 or more kills as she is simply taking care of business with her arm at a high rate. In Crestview's most recent 3-1 win over Chippewa, Auer average 8.3 k/s on a .382 efficiency to go along with 16 digs. In the win, fellow senior and setter Sophia Stewart dished a match high 41 assists to maintain her season average just a 10 a/s. Crestview (21-3 overall), ranked #10 in DV, will face Chagrin Falls on Thursday.

Just a freshman, Jankowski was big time in her offensive effort for Hoover on Monday. With a match high 26 kills, she terminated 6.5 k/s on an impressive .382 efficiency. This matched her season and career best output as she shares the lead in the Vikings' offense overall at 4.7 k/s along with senior [player_tooltip player_id='807854' first='Audrey' last='Ellis']. Jankowski is having one of the most impressive offensive performances for the season among Ohio freshman as she has terminated in double digits in every match, including reaching 20 or more kills 10 times. Hoover takes on Nordonia next.

Hoover (17-5 overall) defeated Mayfield 3-1 on Monday as Jurica guided their offense with 47 assists. At nearly 12 assists per set in the victory, she helped the Vikings' attack hum along to a 52-36 advantage in kills. A 5'6 senior, Jurica now has 1,451 total career assists over three seasons, which involves a 2025 effort as her first opportunity to lead the offense as the primary setter. At 10.1 a/s, a career best for a season, she should surpass the 900 assists mark for 2025 in their upcoming match versus Nordonia.

The Generals opened up postseason action with a solid 3-1 win over a good Northview team. Gardner was huge in the victory as she led her team's offense with 24 kills on a .447 efficiency and 55% kill rate. She also added 17 digs and three aces. Gardnder's offensive impact elevation this season has been impressive as she came back to the high school scene with improved offensive tools and assertiveness to match what she was already contributing with her ball control and defense. She has led the DII top-ranked Generals all season, currently at 4.2 k/s, a team that returned multiple key pieces following their state runner-up finish in 2024. They will next face Clay on Wednesday.

McKnight, just a freshman, arrived on the Prep Dig radar recently given the impressive distribution numbers she has provided for Lancaster. She has dished 539 total assists including 44 in their 3-2 win Monday over Hilliard Davidson. McKnight also contributed six digs and five aces. This is her second effort at 40 assists or more in her freshman season as she has also achieved 30 or more in five matches. Lancaster (10-13 overall) will next face Pickerington Central.
