Despite missing two key starters in seniors [player_tooltip player_id='806365' first='Allison' last='Sims'] and [player_tooltip player_id='827245' first='Brooklyn' last='Barrow'], the Bears benefited from the homecourt advantage to win 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-16).

With Sims and Barrow out, the junior outside hitter embraced the responsibility of leading Bridgeland's offense and had a strong performance at the net. Rachal's leaping ability consistently put her in good spots to score points at the pin and she displayed excellent vision and good variation to register an impressive 15 kills out of her 20 swings, some of them in out-of-system plays. Rachal was also very consistent and made only one error despite her high usage rate. She also did a great job in serve-receive, leading the Bears with 19 passes, and had the team's third-best mark of eight digs despite only playing the front row rotations.

The senior right side did a good job of splitting the scoring load with Rachal and was pivotal in Bridgeland's sweep. Clark only played the front row rotations, but was still the team's most frequent scoring option, getting set 32 times. She managed to put the ball down in 13 of those attempts, displaying great firepower to beat blockers and defenders, but also great feeling to switch gears and use tips to score. Besides producing at a high volume, Clark, who also got a block in the match, also came up big in key moments for the Bears, scoring the game-winning points in the last two sets.

The senior middle had a very productive performance, appearing well in different areas of the game. A six-footer, Rawlins stood out primarily for her blocking, leading her team with four stuffs and also getting some touches that generated transition plays for the Bears. Offensively, she made good use of her high contact to score at a good rate and left the court with three kills to her name. Rawlins also stood out from the service line, firing a very aggressive serve that resulted in a pair of aces and passing struggles for Langham Creek.

The senior libero gave her team a lot of stability with her consistent and reliable game on the backcourt. Couch thrived with her excellent positioning on the backcourt and frequently appeared in the right spot to make defensive plays, leading her team with 16 digs. She was also very active and efficient in serve-receive, efficiently handling the serves that went her way and registering 12 passes. Couch was very quick to step up and set in transition when needed, using her hands to deliver excellent balls to her hitters and record five assists.

The senior outside hitter was the centerpiece of Langham Creek's playing system, getting involved in everything her team did on the court. Gatlin had a big role in her team's serve-receive system and also came up with some nice digs on the backcourt, displaying great ball control. She was an important offensive weapon for the Lobos too, doing a great job of getting off the floor and swinging aggressively. She also frequently set in the middle back position and displayed great vision and accuracy to find sharp angles and put the ball down.

The junior defensive specialist managed to make an impact every time she came in, strengthening her team's backcourt game. Ruth was very intelligent and precise with her serving, diversifying well and often getting Bridgeland out of system. Her defense was on another level and she got to stop many opposing swings on the right back position, demonstrating great ability to perform overhead digs. Ruth also did good work in serve-receive, covering a large area on the court and remaining consistent with her passing.
