[player_tooltip player_id='666302' first='Addison' last='Doyle']

If there was a recordable stat for ‘wow' plays- [player_tooltip player_id='666302' first='Addison' last='Doyle'] would be near the top of the list every year. You won't be able to watch her play a match without seeing her make at least one eye-popping kill or block. There is rarely a time when Addison is not the most athletic player on the court. She possesses an elite vertical, and an incredibly quick arm swing. Gaining more consistency will be the key for her, and you saw her improve on that this year playing school ball for the 5A state qualifying Claremore Zebras. She also returns to Charge Tulsa 17 UA this year- one of the top club teams in the country. With some changes to their roster this year, Addison could find herself with a bigger role going into this club season.

[player_tooltip player_id='750430' first='Judah' last='Pratt']

Relatively unknown, playing for homeschool program Flame, Judah is a player who is turning heads and shooting up the rankings. You could describe her as a gentle giant- over 6' tall- but with a calm, and laid back demeanor. She lets her play do the talking. For Flame, she was essentially a one woman wrecking crew. Despite being a middle blocker, she plays 6 rotations for Flame, doing damage with her serving ability and back row attacks- in addition to dominating at the net while in the front row. She really starting getting on scout's radar last club season, playing for Virago's 15-1 team, where she led the team both in blocks and kills. A multi-sport athlete who excels in basketball as well, Judah moves laterally so effortlessly- making it tough for opposing hitters, even running tempo, to get out of the shadow of her block. Look for her to continue to make waves this club season as she continues to compete on the national stage for Virago's 16 Elite team.

[player_tooltip player_id='739626' first='Joslyn' last='Parker']

Judah's club teammate last season, [player_tooltip player_id='739626' first='Joslyn' last='Parker'], left her mark as a force in the middle as well. The duo teamed up to form one of the most imposing middle blocking combos in 15U. Joslyn parlayed her club success in to a staring role for the Dutch of Holland Hall. Joslyn is a willing and vocal leader- something that will serve her well as she steps into a that role for the Dutch in coming seasons. Joslyn runs a variety of up tempo sets- really excelling hitting the 3-1, which most teams struggle to defend. Look for her game to take another big leap this season as she plays up a year on [program_tooltip program_id='776295' first='Tulsa' last='Power']'s 17-1 team.

[player_tooltip player_id='740379' first='Paisley' last='Potwora']

In a class that is loaded with quality middle blockers- it would be hard to make an argument for anyone other than [player_tooltip player_id='740379' first='Paisley' last='Potwora'] to be at the top of the list. Paisley was dominant last season in 15U, while playing for Charge Tulsa 15 UA. She took that success and ran with it, as she was a huge reason why the Bixby Spartans were able to return to the 6A state tournament this year. In addition to being incredibly quick, Paisley reads opposing plays exceedingly well- allowing her to anticipate and be in great position to block. She excels as a beach volleyball player as well as indoor- which likely aids in her ability to read and see the game at a high level. Offensively, what really stands out is the quickness with which she puts the ball on the floor. She has a very fast arm-swing, and attacks the ball early in her hitting window- which allows her to get her up-tempo attacks across the net before the opposing block can close.

Elsi Peters

Elsi may not quite have the resume yet, compared to some other players on this list- but the potential is there. Despite being a freshman, Elsi was thrust into the starting lineup for the rebuilding Regent Rams this season. This provided a great opportunity for her to get some experience playing fast paced varsity level volleyball- and you could see her getting more and more comfortable as the season went on. Tall and long-armed, she is a naturally gifted blocker- with the ability to take up lots of space at the net and press into the opponent's court. She has spent time at both the middle blocker and right side hitter positions in club ball- but looks poised to settle in as one of the two middle blocker positions for Virago 15 Elite this season. Another year competing at the national level should continue to push Elsi towards the top of the middle blocker rankings in her class.
