[player_tooltip player_id='880548' first='Kayliana' last='Hatfield']

Kayliana was a welcome addition to the starting lineup this year for the Sapulpa Chieftains. The extremely athletic freshman came into the season looking to compete for a role on varsity- and had a starting spot as the right side hitter locked up by the end of the first week. Her 5'11” height and long arms allowed her to excel as a blocker right out of the gate- but you could see her ability to be a reliable hitter improve as the season went on. In limited action on the JV team Kayliana played as a 6 rotation outside hitter- displaying her capabilities in serve receive and defense, and even has a very aggressive, albeit sometimes inconsistent jump serve. Look for her to compete for a 6 rotation outside hitter role on varsity in 2026- as Sapulpa is graduating one of their two starting outside hitters this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='773146' first='Emily' last='Yoeurth']

Many who watched the Skiatook Bulldogs play this high school season came away asking one question- ‘Who is number 16?' That would be sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='773146' first='Emily' last='Yoeurth']. When the scrappy and defensive minded Bulldogs needed to score points- more often than not it was Emily they looked to for the kill. She is capable of scoring from multiple places on the court, both outside and right side, and the occasional back row attack. Emily relies heavily on her athleticism- which makes her capable of making a big play at any moment. The key for her will be to develop a little more consistency and add some additional tools in her offensive bag as she progresses this club season.

[player_tooltip player_id='739257' first='Aubrey' last='Mathias']

Sophomore setter [player_tooltip player_id='739257' first='Aubrey' last='Mathias'] brings a ton of experience to the position after being a full-time starter both her freshman and sophomore years. Much of her freshman season she was tasked with running a 5-1, and still kept the young Chieftains in the hunt for the state tournament- falling to Claremore in the 5th set of the regional finals. It is in big moments like that where Aubrey really shines. She shows a poise and maturity you don't find in most underclassmen- never getting too high or too low, always maintaining her focus. Aubrey is an excellent decision maker, who understands the importance of getting the ball to her best offensive players, as well as the ability to understand matchups and where the ball should go at any given moment. She also possesses the ability to contribute points herself offensively with one of the cleanest, hardest to read, setter dumps you will find- which has become somewhat of a hallmark of setters from Sapulpa over the last few years.

Autry O'Dell

Another freshman filling a big role this year for a quality team is Autry O'Dell, starting middle blocker for the Charles Page Sandites. She showed flashes of her capabilities as a blocker in an early season tournament, tying a school record with 6 blocks in single varsity match against Bishop McGuinness. She was up to the task of playing on varsity as a freshman- despite competing against middle blockers much older than her. Now with club season coming up, and seeing her compete against only her freshman peers- Autry is an absolute nightmare of a matchup for opposing blockers. Her combination of elite height, length, and vertical jump give her the ability to consistently hit over the block of her competition. She has excellent timing hitting up-tempo, and is able to attack the entire court- turning the ball to both corners with her snap.

Karis Pratt

A jack of all trades, Karis has spent time contributing to her teams as an outside, right side, defensive specialist, and even libero. Having played the early part of her career at homeschool volleyball programs NOAH and Flame- Karis made the jump to Class 6A Bishop Kelley High School this season and was still able to make her mark, even with the jump up in competition. As a freshman, she was able to crack the varsity lineup for the Comets at the right side hitter position. When you watch Karis play- you can tell she is a true competitor. She's the player who hates to lose, hates to give up a point defensively, etc. That should serve her well as transitions into club season for Virago's 15 Elite team- where she will likely compete for either a 6 rotation outside position or may become the team's libero- a position she may be best suited long-term as she looks towards the collegiate level.
