[player_tooltip player_id='571994' first='Devyn' last='Kobe'] delivered a superstar performance with 24 kills and 10 digs. Kobe absolutely dominated, swinging high and with purpose while showcasing control and versatility. She was an ace server at the line, and from the back row she attacked with intention and confidence. Defensively, her disciplined footwork and steady platform allowed her to read plays effectively. At the net, she delivered powerful swings that often avoided the block entirely, solidifying her as one of the most dynamic middle blockers on the floor.

Devyn's Voice
“Something important that I learned from Saturday's match is actually something that our coach has been telling us for a while, and it's that your skill is not always going to be perfect or how you want it to be. In those times, it's especially crucial that you're communicating, talking, and cheering on your teammates. When you do those things, your skills eventually come, and your attitude is essentially the only thing you can control, so you need to take full advantage of it.

Some things that I'd want college coaches to know about me as an athlete are that this season I've really been working on my defense and passing. I'm always working on attacking, but I think defense and serve receive are so important because you can't attack without a good pass. Improving my passing has been a big focus this year.”

My team had a rough start to the season and a tough time in our division, but we still thankfully made it to playoffs. I think that shows how persistent and determined our team is to win even throughout the struggles. I'm overall really proud of what my team has been able to accomplish and can't wait to see what we do this week in states! I would like college coaches to know I'm not a player that will back down from a challenge. Challenges push me to try even harder to do my best.
