Aliyah can do it all! She is a 6'1" setter and right side hitter who also plays great defense. Her court awareness makes her shine. She provides spot-on set placement, regardless of where she handles the ball. In the back row, she reads hitters well, giving her an advantage on defense, which is why she was able to dig back-to-back hits with grace and precision. No matter which touch, Aliyah betters the ball for her teammates to be successful!

[player_tooltip player_id='752753' first='Desiyah' last='Williams'] is a front-row player who makes a big impact on her team through her communication and effort. She closes the block well; that, combined with her hang time, makes her a wall that the hitters struggled to work around. Her efficient communication supplemented her skills in the middle. Desiyah is vocal with her setter and supportive of her teammates.

Prentiss was one of the youngest players on her court this weekend, but she stood out because of her coachability. Prentiss was working on the pin against a strong block, and the court coach gave her some feedback between rallies. Prentiss immediately converted the direction into a kill for her team. With good coaching, Prentiss will undoubtedly be a player to watch in the next several years.
