The event was directed by coaches from various levels and programs of superb quality, with a great deal of instructions and details that went beyond the lines. In between those lines, running the courts were in fact some extremely talented prospects who helped run every drill for others, while showcasing their own skills and talents. Here are our camp captains, who took the lead in shaping their futures, just one step at a time.    Penelope has good size, which gives her an edge, along with her athleticism, to move the ball effortlessly. She has a great touch on the ball, quick feet, and good footwork, which enables her to set up from all over. She looks comfortable as a 6-1 setter, with versatility on defense on the net and in the back row. A prospect to keep watch out for in 2028.     Observing Grace, she clearly has all the tools. In 2027, you can see the maturity and awareness in her game; she is very smooth and more methodical in her approach than most. With her ability and good hands, she makes jump sets and back sets, utilizing her long arms to achieve great height when needed. Great touch on the ball, along with good vision. Opportunity to observe her block as well as dump for a good spot.     At first glance, I thought Lexie was a PIN due to her size. To which this was partially true, she is a Right Side, but that is a secondary position for her. She is a setter, not just any setter; she is one to watch for the future. Steady hands, quick feet to pair with a sneaky athleticism. Makes all the right calls from jump sets, has an excellent touch for back sets, quick back row, and good 4 to the outside. Even getting on the net, making good reads to contest for blocks.     Sound, technical, precise, and execution. Gabrielle, as a setter, is fun to watch, agile, and on point. She knows her PINs and places that ball high in their sweet spots. She is consistent with her abilities, running different sets without error. Hands are steady, feet are quick. While doing it with a smile, she makes the game easy and fun for her crew, like a real general.     This young general leads with enthusiasm, effective communication, energy, and a sense of purpose. Fundamentally locked in, but not robotic. She is a machine; she works at her craft, as proof by her precision. Hands are tight and sound. Footwork is good and quick. Sets are fast and spot on, leading PINs right where they need them. Vision on the opposite side of the net, spotting balls with her court awareness. She displayed the will to block during drills and power in her swing. Understand, she is willing to be in different rotations; she is ready!
