The Prep Dig Exposure Tour took place on Sunday in Pontiac with a great setting for all prospects on hand.

There was a lot of talented players competing, including the 2029 crop of outside hitters.

Here's the first of our 2-part look at this group of prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id='776427' first='Natalia' last='Zywicki'], Marian/Michigan Elite

Zywicki showed a lot of good form in her attacks. She has an athletic swing and makes herself as long as she can while making contact with the ball. Zywicki was also consistent in her performance level throughout the showcase, never showing a slowdown.

McKenzie Brozo, GP North/Monsters

Brozo has a good foundation of her game, and I appreciate that she tried to turn up her aggressiveness for the showcase to show what she is capable of. Brozo just needs to keep fine-tuning the areas of her game and she should take a big step as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'], North Branch/NB Volleyball Club

Deshetsky was one of the standouts of the event. Coming from a family of talented outsides that have all been well-coached, Deshetsky shows that same control and composure with her game. She always looks comfortable in what she's doing and adjusts well to the ball to put a good swing on any out-of-system ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='881474' first='Kylie' last='Rennie'], Lakeland/UV United

Rennie took a little time to find her timing, working with a lot of new setting prospects, but you could see she got more comfortable as the showcase progressed. As her confidence grew, her swings and defensive choices kept improving and she was able to show her potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='782649' first='Lauren' last='Nagel'], Saline/L2

Nagels is a 5'10” outside that plays longer with a good wingspan. She looks comfortable hitting from either pin and times up her attacks well for what works best with her game right now. As she continues to put in work, her aggressiveness and trust at the net should keep building to make her a more consistent finisher.

[player_tooltip player_id='918826' first='Sanaa' last='Ramsey'], OLSM/Michigan Elite

Ramsey is a gritty player that isn't afraid to battle it out at the net or in the back row. She's going to leave everything she has on the court, which is a key trait. Her mindset should help her improve as a player as she continues to develop her technique and form.

[player_tooltip player_id='900450' first='Brinley' last='Welke'], Portage Northern/Dead Frog

A 5'10” outside hitter that produces consistent pop on her swings and has a good feel for her strengths. She already brings a lot of velocity on her attacks, but it looks like she can still find another gear to her play at the net and take her game to another level.

[player_tooltip player_id='906037' first='Annabella' last='Shyti'], Dakota/Unified

Shyti shows some good potential in her decision-making and power she can produce without needing a big windup to her swing. That also shows in her serving ability. A big key for her will to be to keep improving on her timing at the net to unleash the next level of her swing.

[player_tooltip player_id='849580' first='Jordyn' last='Holly'], Plymouth/Michigan Elite

Holly moves around the court well and seems to anticipate where the play is going at an advanced level. I like her approach to the net, and she assesses well during her swing, making last-second adjustments as needed. However, Holly also had the ability to put down some of the biggest swings.

[player_tooltip player_id='911077' first='Jordan' last='Crump'], Southfield Christian/Legacy

Crump could play anywhere along the net and looked comfortable. Though only listed at 5'8”, she was able to play much bigger with a good reach and a solid vertical. Crump also had some standout plays on defense, being able to adjust her body to make a really tough dig.
