In volleyball, it can be their demeanor, skill, specialty that adds to the team, physical attributes, you name it. These players i have seen a number of times and they possess skill sets that help their teams. She can beat you with line shots, tool the block with push off the hands, or beat you with power. She has a great swing and is smart. She just finished her sophomore year at OHS and has played varsity since freshman year. Benet placed 2nd in state telling you their talent and the talent she has! A dynamic OH who has fantastic power and a great competitive nature which I like to see. She has a great vertical and a powerful swing. Has a good all around game as well. Type of player you want fighting for you on the court and a tough player to defend. She snaps that wrist and hits the ball down for kills. She is a 2029 who played JV this school season and is gearing up for club. She moves well at the the MB position and can play some RS as well. Long arms, gets touches at the net and blocks. She has a hammer swing for an arm. When the timing is on the money the ball is coming at you hard. Can add smart tips in there as well with her length. Long arms can make plays at the net both offensively and defensively. Has soft hands and arms when it comes to setting an out of system ball or making a pass as well. Has a great court awareness and makes great passes with her platform or hands. She never seems phazed or frazzled. Type of player you want patrolling that back row. She has quick hands, quick reflexes, and reacts quickly to the ball. She has a nice serve as well that sneaks right along the top of the net quickly. She has really good fight in her and a competitive edge about her on the court. Whether it be their grind and hustle, hitting, passing, serving, presence on the court, it's always fun to watch. I'm looking forward to watching so much talent in the upcoming months.
