I watched Gilio (#88) go on a 4-point service run. Her mean float serves truly flew, then suddenly stopped in the air, resulting in an ace serve. As for her hustle middle back, it is crazy good!! She was able to dig down the line, roll out, and quickly run to the other side to cover. No ball was hitting those last few feet of the court!

Sara turns heads, she has depth to her talent, plus brings consistency in top tier performances on the court. Sara is heavily relied upon by her team and for good reason, she delivers. She has a lethal swing that she can dial in with complete accuracy, cross court, down the line or finding the seams. She does it all, with a super block, Sara is excellent digging up balls with accurate passes and a great serve, she is the consummate player on a full rotation play! She is confident and performs with intensity that her team feeds off of! Gamechanger on the court!

A six rotation outside hitter who preps at Oswego and plays club ball for Sports Performance 16 Elite is Sara Gilio Sara Gilio 5'11" | OH Oswego (H.S.) | 2028 State IL . I was able to see Gilio at Triple Crown and noticed her ability to score points in multiple ways.  She is able to go hard cross, line, and is able to use the opposing block to her advantage. She has a well rounded skillset where she can do a little bit of everything that all outside hitters need to be successful.  Sports Performance 16 Elite and Gilio will be heading to the JVA World Challenge this weekend, competing in 16 Open.

There is a lot of promise in the game of Sara Gilio Sara Gilio 5'11" | OH Oswego (H.S.) | 2028 State IL who is an outside hitter from Sports Performance 16 Elite.  She was able to showcase a nice flop serve that gave the other side of the net problems.  On the outside she was able to show some range.  She knows how to turn on the ball and hit line while also being able to go sharp cross.  There is a strong all around game to her while she has a diverse set of skills.  She is one to have on the radar among 2028s in Illinois. 

I’ve seen Sarah play a few times and she’s got game! She can beat you with line shots, tool the block with push off the hands, or beat you with power. She has a great swing and is smart. She just finished her sophomore year at OHS and has played varsity since freshman year. She will have a great club season, and is one to keep your eye on.
