She prepares herself well to pursue the second touch and gets her hands up early and high to be able to extend with good location to both pins. She can also control her touch and tempo well to create good action in between and out of the back row also. She is a 5'10 middle with an aggressive arm at the net. Her footwork shows a fluid quality in her movement, especially in transition with good vision to identify the pass or dig to make the right adjustments around her setter to be available to attack through different options. She elevates with good drive in her arm work to get her up and open to generate aggressive pace upon contact.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='833363' first='Caroline' last='Rude']</strong> - MH | OPVC 15-1 Hart<br>Rude led her Monroe team offensively at 2.1 k/s this past fall, a good start to her varsity career in terms of numbers. The club season is where we'll get a good evaluation of her tools as she should have more opportunity to engage offensively with more variety and consistency among the middle options and tempo. She has a good foundation in her movement and ability to swing with aggressive action, along with getting experience to develop her tools at the pins at times as well. With the ability to swing in the middle and at the pins, she can produce in a variety of ways. When on time through her approach and contact in the air, DeToto can provide some good pace. This team has some athletes that will be radar prospects and stock risers going forward this season if they can find some rhythm and sync with one another and gain that attention as a unit.
