H-Town Showdown 16s Division Game-Changing Setters

She did a very good job with her distribution, keeping all her hitters involved and adding a touch of creativity to their offensive system. With HJV Elite clearly being the strongest team in the event, Chase had an important role, keeping the team in a strong rhythm even if the competition didn't truly challenge them during the day. Her game was very steady and consistent, and every time a pass went her way, her hitters knew exactly what they were going to get, adding a great deal of stability to the team's offense. Campbell did a good job of using her middles when in system, not overloading her pin hitters and keeping the team's offense flowing. One of the most technical and intelligent setters in the tournament, she kept her team's offense firing on all cylinders with her creative playmaking. Moctezuma also showed solid hitting skills on a couple of occasions when the ball went up around her for the third contact, finding great spots on the opposing court to direct her swings to. She had some of the best setting hands in the event and performed plays with a high degree of difficulty, setting against the flow of play and working with passes off the net. Regardless of the situation, Glynn was always very precise with her locations, displaying great spatial awareness and ball control. Extremely technical, she made the most of her group of hitters, standing out for the consistency in her locations and smart distribution. Lacson accelerated the game as much as she could when in system and did a good job of tracking passes off the net.
