With most of the roster intact from a year ago, L2 151 has a lot of team chemistry and has been able to hit the ground running in 2026.

Coached by Sarah Lindstrom, this has a nice mixture of size, athleticism, and depth, and hopes to be among the top 15U teams in the state of Michigan this club year.

Setting Leadership

L2 is relying on a pair of setters to be leaders on and off the court in [player_tooltip player_id='888971' first='Hayden' last='Rogers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='782372' first='Lindsey' last='Nagel']. Both are embracing their roles as leaders and putting in the work to push a fast pace with this offense. Rogers brings a tremendous work ethic to the floor and she also plays with a lot of competitive fire. Nagel also is relentless in her play and has really shined with her defensively ability while also being a great setter.

Hitting Depth

L2 has plenty of arms to get the ball to this season and each player is getting more confident in their swing. In the middle [player_tooltip player_id='888979' first='Mia' last='Keefer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='878880' first='Mckynzie' last='Monroe'] are a pair of 6-footers that bring a lot of athleticism and quickness to the position. Keifer has a nice array of shot speeds and locations, while Monroe is making big strides in her overall play. [player_tooltip player_id='782729' first='Rachel' last='Unsworth'] is a former middle that has moved to the outside and seeing a big boost in her game. She's been a nice addition to the already strong trio of [player_tooltip player_id='782649' first='Lauren' last='Nagel'], [player_tooltip player_id='888976' first='Madison' last='Smith'], and [player_tooltip player_id='780462' first='Jordyn' last='Kern'] on the outside. The strength of this position is their speed, which has led to more aggressive swings, and a lot of ground covered defensively.

Calculated Defense

L2 has a pair of defenders it can really rely on in Evelyn Madeja and [player_tooltip player_id='778631' first='Breanna' last='McMahon']. Madeja has tremendous court vision and seems to make the right decision in most pressure situations. Her communication and leadership skills also mesh well with the roster. McMahon is a new addition to the team and she brings a lot of poise to the back row, while maintaining a high level of quickness.

Expectations

L2 isn't going to back down from anyone this season as it competes in the 15 Open around the country. They started the year 3-4 in the Nike Classic last month, with three losses coming in three sets. This team is hanging with everyone it faces, just needs to find a way to come through with those crucial points down the stretch. This weekend will be a big sign for how far they have come, playing in the Nike North Coast Cup. Expect L2 151 to get some marquee wins throughout 2026.
