This tournament featured a wide array of talent across multiple age groups and positions, making it a fun scouting weekend for myself. The Minnesota Slam brought out a number of players who consistently stood out through their enhanced skills, raw athleticism, and their ability to impact the game in multiple ways. The following players were some of the most notable 15u standouts that caught my attention and made it into my notes app due to their performance and overall potential.

Remember to follow me on Instagram @Prepdigamy and Facebook @PrepDig Amy for up to date event coverage, stories, and more. She is the go to for her team and is a true gamer who competes hard and is relentless in tense moments. She is highly effective in out of system situations, demonstrating the ability to manage difficult sets while still being aggressive and terminal. Her toolbox is advanced for her age, featuring a mix of powerful shots, tips, and rolls that keep defenders off balance.

In addition, it is impressive is that she is a 2030 player that is playing up an age level, and already performing, indicating a very high ceiling as she continues to develop and grow her game.

Osborne is a six rotation outside hitter that showcased a high ceiling. She is a smart, efficient attacker who can score but also demonstrates excellent shot selection, consistently mixing in tips and rolls to exploit defensive gaps. Her ability to play all six rotations tells of her sound mechanics and skills, volleyball IQ, and competitiveness. She clearly understands how to score points rather than forcing swings into the block. As she continues to develop and grow her game, she has the potential to be a dynamic and impact at all levels.

Shannon is a 5–1 setter that did a solid job running the offense for Iowa One, consistently finding her hitters and putting them in the best position to score. She plays with a high level of intelligence, showcasing a heightened game IQ and court vision. She understands how to spread out the offense, read the block and defense, and distribute the ball effectively. Defensively, she is quick and active, with the ability to track down balls all over the court. Her awareness, competitiveness, and feel for the game make her an up and coming floor general that we can't wait to see more of.

Lybeck proved that she is a middle blocker that can be highly effective on both sides of the ball. She was efficient in the middle attack, scoring consistently and creating pressure on opposing blockers by going over, around, and sometimes through defenders. Defensively, she did a solid job controlling the net, either by closing the block or slowing balls down with effective block touches. Her ability to impact the game on both offense and defense was a key component for her team winning the tournament.

Stetter consistently impacted the games in multiple ways throughout the entire tournament. She was effective and reliable in serve receive, providing needed consistent passes to target which allowed her team to stay in system and run an effective offense. She also played solid defense both in the backrow and at the net. Offensively, she was one of the primary scorers for her team throughout the entire weekend. She routinely found ways to rack up points for her team in numerous situations, and thus we were able to see her showcase some huge attacks, along with rolls and tips.
