Olivia debuts at No. 76 overall in the 2027 class in the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is a five foot nine setter who plays at St. Johns High School and competes for Houston Juniors Volleyball Club. Miss Landahl is equipped with exceptionally clean hands that consistently deliver the rock to all of her hitters in rhythm. She truly understands how to run an offense and manage tempo throughout a match. What stands out most on film is her ability to push the ball against the flow of the pass, creating one on one attacking situations for her pins. That skill alone separates advanced setters from average ones. Despite not having imposing size, she generates impressive power through her hands and core to extend the ball all the way to the antennas. Her consistency in location is another defining trait. Hitters are routinely placed in optimal positions to succeed because she lives in the bullseye with her ball placement. She demonstrates a high volleyball IQ by moving the ball around in tough situations and recognizing favorable matchups. There is a calm command in how she orchestrates the offense, almost like having an additional coach on the floor. Her technique and form are impeccable, which is a direct reflection of the time and repetition she has invested into mastering her craft. Olivia is a steady, intelligent setter who shows strong court awareness. She does a good job managing tempo and distributing the ball, even when the offense is out of system. I appreciate her decision-making and how she keeps hitters engaged throughout the match. Her leadership and composure are clear strengths, and she continues to grow into the role of running an offense.

Landahl set for the St. John’s team that ended the tournament with four wins and one loss. Her intelligent playmaking made the team’s offense very strong and efficient, paving the way for their successful campaign. St. John’s ran a very intricate offense, with a lot of movement and players hitting in different positions and Landahl knew how to make the most of it, getting her pin hitters to swing to an open net on some occasions. The setter also contributed on the backcourt, serving efficiently and playing great defense.

A setter for the Houston Skyline club team, Landahl has switched high schools this offseason, going from The Woodlands to St. John’s. She’s extremely reliable as a setter as her touch is extremely clean and she’s as consistent as it gets with her locations, even when dealing with passes off the net. Landahl is also an extremely intelligent playmaker and that shows with the smart decisions she makes and with how well she runs her team’s offense. Landahl is also an elite-level defender, converging a lot of ground at the right back position and displaying excellent ball control to make digs.
